## Stable discovery

The public index at /api/v1/ reports the current version, documentation, OpenAPI contract and MCP endpoints. Compatible fields may be added within v1; breaking changes use a new major path.

## Errors and limits

REST errors use RFC 9457 application/problem+json with a stable code and a safe hint. Observe RateLimit-Policy, RateLimit and Retry-After instead of guessing when to retry.
